SENATE BILL 106
AN ACT relative to confidentiality in adult guardianship cases.

This bill declares that records, reports, and evidence submitted to the probate court or recorded by the court in adult guardianship cases are confidential.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT relative to confidentiality in adult guardianship cases.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
66:1 Guardians; Conduct of Hearing. Amend RSA 464-A:8, VI to read as follows:
VI. Records, reports, and evidence submitted to the court or recorded by the court shall be confidential [only insofar as they directly relate to alleged specific functional limitations of the proposed ward].
66:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013.
