STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT relative to liability for expenses for court ordered placements of children.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. The following are repealed:
I. RSA 169-C:27, I(d)-(f), relative to liability for certain placement expenses and the payment of counsel under the Child Protection Act.
II. RSA 169-C:27, II, relative the state's authority to request a hearing on the cost or appropriateness of placements or services.
III. RSA 169-C:27, III, relative to the office of reimbursement's authority to reduce certain expenses charged to the state.
IV. RSA 169-C:27, IV, relative to the department of health and human services authority to enter into agreements with counties regarding reimbursement costs.
V. RSA 169-C:27, V, relative to the department's authority to request a lien for outstanding reimbursement costs.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
