STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT relative to the penalty for failure to deliver goods under the Uniform Commercial Code.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Certificate of Deed. Amend RSA 382-A by inserting after section 1-310 the following new section:
382-A:1-311 Certificate of Deed. Whoever for any reason whatsoever violates the requirements for transactions in goods provided by RSA 382-A, or shall fail to deliver any part of the property included in a contract to any purchaser, shall be ipso facto guilty of negligence and shall be liable for damages equal to triple the value of the contract.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
