A JOINT RESOLUTION to confirm the appointment of Robert J. Harris to the north carolina industrial commission.

Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to appoint Robert J. Harris to the North Carolina Industrial Commission as a commissioner representing employers; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Robert J. Harris of Wake County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, to begin on July 1, 2018, and expire on June 30, 2024, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
