A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to ensure the department of transportation complies with the reduction in workforce required by law.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  To ensure the Department of Transportation complies with the reduction in workforce required by law, the Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall eliminate 81 filled, full‑time positions within units and divisions in the Department of Transportation with unmet outsourcing targets. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall eliminate the positions required under this section by June 1, 2015.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
