A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to the board of governors of the university of north carolina to implement the strategic plan adopted for the university system.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) for the 2015‑2016 fiscal year and the sum of fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) for the 2016‑2017 fiscal year to implement the strategic plan, "Our Time, Our Future: The UNC Compact with North Carolina" adopted by the Board of Governors in February 2013.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2015.
