A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to ENCOURAGE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO ATTEND THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGES FOR ACADEMIC OR VOCATIONAL CLASSES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Eligible high school students are permitted and encouraged to attend their local community colleges for academic or vocational classes in accordance with G.S. 115D‑20(4).

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law and applies beginning with the 2017‑2018 school year.
