A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to the board of governors of the UNIVERSITY of north carolina for restoration and repairs to the g.l. butler building on the campus of fayetteville state university.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for the 2010‑2011 fiscal year to be allocated to Fayetteville State University.  These funds shall be used for restoration and repairs to the G.L. Butler Building, a highly trafficked student academic building that has suffered serious damage and deterioration.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2010.
