A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to exempt the Chapel Hill‑Carrboro City Schools from the requirement that class Rank be recorded on the transcripts of High School Students.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 116‑11(10a) or any other provision of law, the Chapel Hill‑Carrboro City Schools shall not be required to record or report class rank on the transcripts of high school students.

SECTION 2.  This act applies only to the Chapel Hill‑Carrboro City Schools.

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
