A JOINT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE 2009 GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CONSIDER A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO CLARIFY THE REQUIREMENT THAT ATTORNEYS WHO DRAFT WILLS AND CODICILS MUST INCLUDE THEIR NAMES ON THE DOCUMENT BY PROVIDING THAT FAILURE TO DO SO DOES NOT RENDER THE WILL INVALID.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The 2009 General Assembly may consider "A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO CLARIFY THE REQUIREMENT THAT ATTORNEYS WHO DRAFT WILLS AND CODICILS MUST INCLUDE THEIR NAMES ON THE DOCUMENT BY PROVIDING THAT FAILURE TO DO SO DOES NOT RENDER THE WILL INVALID."

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
