A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to amend the season for the taking of foxes by trapping in hyde county.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of S.L. 1997‑132 reads as rewritten:
"Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
there is an open season for the trapping of foxes from the day after the
close of gun deer season until February 28 December 1 through the last
day of February of each year."
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 229 of the 1989 Session Laws is repealed.
SECTION 3. This act applies only to Hyde County.
SECTION 4. This act becomes effective October 1, 2012.
