A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to reenact the AUTHORIZation for the department of TRANSPORTATION to participate in private DEVELOPER contracts for IMPROVEMENTS to the state highway system, subject to a limit of the lesser of ten percent or two hundred fifty thousand dollars, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE JOINT LEGISLATIVE TRANSPORTATION OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 2 of S.L. 2009‑235 reads as rewritten:

"SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law. This act shall expire on December 31, 2011.December 31, 2016."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
