A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH PANOLA HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR VARSITY CHEERLEADERS UPON WINNING THE MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION GAME DAY CHEER DIVISION STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.

     WHEREAS, the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders have energetically and buoyantly cheered their team to win the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Game Day Cheer Championship State Title; and

     WHEREAS, these amazingly fierce cheerleaders have been led by four amazing, hard-working and dedicated coaches:  Mary Booth, Sara Helen Ware, Tori Beth Jenkins and Aerial Sanford, whose leadership help to shape the teams execution and style; and

     WHEREAS, the team's senior captains led the team to this championship with integrity and fortitude; and

     WHEREAS, after having a successful competitive season in which the team worked extremely hard with precision and accuracy, the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders have enjoyed cheering on their varsity teams; and

     WHEREAS, the members of South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders include:  Alaina Brooke Masterson, Alycia Robertson, Lyla Kate Burkes, Hanna Talley, Katie Daniel, Aubrey Morris, Tan i yah Willingham, Ami yah Farmer, Lela Sanford, Adie Ware, Maggey Austin, McKenzie Blackburn, Melanie Cannon, Raimah Poole, Molly Herron, Alyssia Burnette, Anna Kate Gatlin, Emma Grace Moore, Destiny Thompson, Braydee Claire Little, Adilyn Cole, Cheyenne Morgan, Graylee Gentry, Khloe Sneed, Mari Preslee Helms, Peyton Nicholson and Brooke Copeland; and

     WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize these outstanding student-athletes, whose execution, positive attitude and accolades bring honor to their school, their community, their families and to the State of Mississippi:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders upon winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Game Day Cheer State Championship Title, and extend best wishes for future success.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to Coach Mary Booth, Coach Sara Helen Ware, Coach Tori Beth Jenkins, Coach Aerial Sanford, Principal David Odom of South Panola High School, forwarded to the Panola School Board, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
