AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO LYNN TERRY OF OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Lynn Terry of Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his convictions of the crime of grand larceny in 1987 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve twenty-four (24) months probation under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.  His probation was terminated on February 6, 1989.  Since that time the Legislature is reliably informed that he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
