MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO ICS HEAD START, NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., AND ABANDONED TO ADORED ANIMAL SHELTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute funds, during fiscal years 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027, to the following organizations in amounts not to exceed the following per fiscal year:

ICS Head Start................................. $  50,000.00

Northeast Mississippi Community

   Services, Inc............................... $ 150,000.00

     (2)  The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute funds, during fiscal year 2024, to Abandoned to Adored animal shelter in an amount not to exceed Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00).

     (3)  This section shall stand repealed on July 1, 2027.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
