Senate Bill 2921

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE READ BY THIRD GRADE, A TUTORIAL PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK STUDENTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute annually not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), out of any available funds of the city, to the Read by Third Grade, a Tutorial Program For At-Risk Students.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
