AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO ROBERT WARREN OF SHARKEY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Robert Warren of Sharkey County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of receiving stolen property in 1992 in Sharkey County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve two (2) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections followed by five (5) years' probation.  He violated probation, was revoked on December 17, 2003, in Sharkey County Circuit Court, and was given two (2) years to serve followed by probation for five (5) years.  He was released to probation on July 22, 2004, and was discharged on November 5, 2004.  Since that time, he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
