Senate Bill 2827
AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO CLEARLY MARK RIGHT-OF-WAY BOUNDARY MARKERS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall clearly mark, at a minimum with fluorescent orange paint, right-of-way boundary markers. In addition, the department shall as soon as practical replace boundary markers with a marker at least four (4) feet in height.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
