AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO TRANSFER AND CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Department of Finance and Administration is authorized to transfer and convey certain real property, as determined by a survey, and any improvements on the property to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.  The property is located in the City of Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi, and is occupied by the District Substation of the Department of Public Safety.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
