WHEREAS, Mrs. Grayson Green McNeil, Mrs. Mississippi 2021, represented the State of Mississippi with both grace and glamour while competing at Mrs. America 2021, a truly wonderful accomplishment; and

WHEREAS, born and raised in Mississippi, Mrs. McNeil is a graduate of Mize High School in Mize, Mississippi, and received full scholarships to Pearl River Community College, where she received an associate's degree, and then she completed the cosmetology program at Jones College in 2020, and is now employed as a board-certified cosmetologist at The Hair Bar in Magee, Mississippi, where she specializes in pageant, prom and wedding events; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. McNeil's motto is "If you are going to rise, you might as well shine", and she certainly shone bright on stage and shared some Mississippi hospitality with the other contestants, and although she did not bring home the title of Mrs. America, she spent two weeks meeting new friends, making amazing memories and enjoying many exciting adventures while in Las Vegas; and

WHEREAS, Mississippi is known for its southern charm and hospitality, and it has been Mrs. McNeil's mission to allow that to shine through her during her reign as Mrs. Mississippi, and fulfilling her dream to represent our state as Mrs. Mississippi would not have been possible without the encouragement from family and friends and the support from her many sponsors across the state; and
