House Bill 21

AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO TRANSFER A CERTAIN SUM FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE FUND TO THE BUDGET CONTINGENCY FUND; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  During fiscal year 2014, the State Fiscal Officer shall transfer the sum of Six Million Dollars ($6,000,000.00) from the Department of Insurance Fund (Fund No. 3501) to the Budget Contingency Fund created in Section 27-103-301 (Fund No. 3177).

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2013.
