AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO APPROPRIATE COUNTY FUNDS TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A SPECIAL MASTER AND A FAMILY MASTER FOR THE CHANCERY COURTS OF THE COUNTY; TO PROVIDE THAT SUCH MASTERS SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE CHANCELLOR OF THE SEVENTH CHANCERY COURT DISTRICT, SUBDISTRICT 7-1; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered, in their discretion,  to appropriate funds from any available general funds of the county to retain a special master and family master who shall be appointed by the chancellor of the Seventh Chancery Court District, Subdistrict 7-1.  The appointed special master and family master shall assist in the efficient and expeditious adjudication of matters pending in the chancery courts of Bolivar County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
