AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COPIAH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PROVIDE LABOR AND MATERIALS TO ASSIST IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROADWAYS FOR THE CAMPSITE FOR MISSISSIPPI'S TOUGHEST KIDS FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 19-5-93, Mississippi Code of 1972, or any other law to the contrary, the Board of Supervisors of Copiah County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to provide labor and materials for the construction of roadways for the campsite for Mississippi's Toughest Kids Foundation (MTK), which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the construction of a camping facility for the state's children and adults who have special needs. 

     (2)  The provision of labor and materials authorized under subsection (1) of this section shall be for the duration of the construction of the campsite for MTK.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
