AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO PIGS-IN-FLIGHT, A CHILDREN'S MUSEUM THAT PROVIDES EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute annually from its general fund in an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to Pigs-In-Flight, a 501(c)(3) children's museum that provides early childhood education programs.

(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2019.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
