AN ACT TO REQUIRE LIABILITY INSURERS TO DISCLOSE THE LIMITS OF A POLICY TO A THIRD-PARTY CLAIMANT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. A liability insurer shall disclose the limits of any policy to a third-party claimant. The insurer shall incur no liability for the disclosure of such limits.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2011.
