An Act To Authorize The Board Of Supervisors Of Lee County To Create The Sand Creek Wastewater Authority; To Provide That The Authority Shall Be Governed By A Board Of Directors; To Provide For The Membership Of The Board Of Directors; To Provide For The Powers And Duties Of The Authority; To Authorize The Authority To Acquire, Construct, Maintain And Operate Wastewater Systems For Areas Served By Its Member Agencies; To Authorize Wastewater Providers To Contract With The Authority; To Authorize Its Member Agencies To Contract With Nonmember Agencies With Approval Of The Authority; To Authorize The Sand Creek Wastewater Authority To Issue Revenue Bonds To Provide Funds Necessary To Achieve The Purposes Of This Act; To Authorize The Sand Creek Wastewater Authority, With The Approval Of The Affected Wastewater Provider, To Enter Into Contracts With The Owners Of Property To Provide Improvements Necessary To Provide Wastewater Services; To Provide That The Authority May Issue Special Assessment Bonds To Finance Such Improvements And To Authorize The Authority To Levy And Collect Special Assessments Against The Property Benefited Thereby To Retire Such Bonds; And For Related Purposes.
