Summary

An Act To Amend Chapter 951, Local And Private Laws Of 2012, To Extend The Date Of Repeal On The Provision Of Law That Authorizes The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Gautier, Mississippi, To Levy A Tax Upon The Gross Proceeds Of Sales Of Restaurants And Upon The Gross Sales Of Hotels And Motels Derived From Room Rentals And Provides That The Revenue From The Tax Shall Be Expended By The City For The Purpose Of Providing Funds To Improve Parks And Recreation Facilities For The Purpose Of Tourism And Economic Development Within The City; To Revise The Amount Of Tax That May Be Levied From 1% To 2% On The Gross Proceeds Of Sales From Such Restaurants, Hotels And Motels; And For Related Purposes.
