Summary

An Act To Amend Section 47-5-901, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Department Of Corrections Must Remove Offenders Sentenced To A Technical Violation Center, Restitution Center Or Recidivism Reduction Program Who Are Being Housed In County Jails Within 14 Days Of Receiving The Court Order; To Require The Department Of Corrections To Reimburse Counties A Per-day Housing Cost After The Fourteen-day Period Expires; And For Related Purposes.
