Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 47-7-38, 47-7-27, 47-7-37 And 47-7-38.1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Period Of Imprisonment To Be Served By Persons On Parole Or Probation In A Technical Violation Center Shall Be Based Upon The Number Of Prior Revocations Rather Than The Number Of Technical Violations; To Authorize The Department Of Corrections To Extend The Period Of Imprisonment For An Additional 180 Days Or Transfer The Probationer Or Parolee To General Custody Under Certain Circumstances; And For Related Purposes.
