Summary

An Act To Amend Section 77-3-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Define The Terms "video Services," "voice Over Internet Protocol Services," "commercial Mobile Services" And "internet Protocol Enabled Services," And To Provide That Such Services Shall Not Be Included In The Regulation Of Public Utilities; To Amend Section 77-3-35, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Public Service Commission Shall Have Jurisdiction Over Intrastate Switched Access Service Provided By Public Utilities; To Provide That The Rate Structure Used For The Provision Of Intrastate Switched Access Service Shall Be The Same As Those Used For The Provision Of Interstate Switched Access Service; And For Related Purposes.
