An Act To Amend Sections 43-20-5, 43-20-8, 43-20-11, 43-20-12, 43-20-14, 43-20-53, 43-20-57 And 43-20-59, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Powers And Duties Of The State Department Of Health Relating To The Licensure Of Child Care Facilities To The State Department Of Human Services And To Provide That The Department Of Human Services Shall Perform All Of The Duties Relating To The Establishment And Enforcement Of Regulations Governing The Operation Of Licensed Child Care Facilities That Were Formerly Performed By The State Department Of Health; To Amend Sections 43-16-3, 43-16-5, 43-16-9 And 43-16-25, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Powers And Duties Of The Mississippi Department Of Health Relating To The Licensure Of Child Residential Homes To The State Department Of Human Services; To Reenact Former Section 43-17-39, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Department Of Human Services Is The Lead Agency For The Federal Child Care And Development Fund (ccdf) Program; To Amend Sections 75-74-3, 75-74-7, 75-74-8, 75-74-9, 75-74-11, 75-74-17 And 75-74-19, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Powers And Duties Of The State Department Of Health Relating To The Licensure Of Youth Camps To The State Department Of Human Services; And For Related Purposes.
