An Act To Provide That Any Candidate To Any Elective Office Must Provide Proof Of The Candidate's Birth Or Naturalization In The United States Upon Filing A Statement Of Intent To Be A Candidate; To Require The Secretary Of State To Adopt Rules And Regulations Specifying The Documents That May Be Accepted By The Proper Officials To Verify A Candidate's United States Citizenship; To Amend Sections 23-15-213, 23-15-299, 23-15-309, 23-15-359, 23-15-361, 23-15-857 And 23-15-977, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform; And For Related Purposes.
