Summary

An Act To Prohibit A Person Who Holds Elective Office In This State From Being A Candidate For Any Other Elective Office During The Term For Which He Was Elected Unless The Date Of The Election For The Other Elective Office Is The Date Of The Election For The Office He Holds, Or He Resigns From The Elective Office That He Holds Prior To Qualifying As A Candidate For The Other Elective Office; To Amend Sections 23-15-299, 23-15-309 And 23-15-359, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
