Summary

An Act To Authorize Boards Of Supervisors Of Counties And Governing Authorities Of Municipalities To Designate And Establish Pursuant To Criteria Established By The Mississippi Development Authority, Cultural Product Districts For The Purpose Of Revitalizing A Community By Creating Hub For Cultural Activity, Including Affordable Artist Housing And Work Space; To Provide That The Sale Of Original, One-of-a-kind Works Of Art From An Established Location Within The Boundaries Of A Cultural Product District Shall Be Exempt From Sales Taxation; To Amend Section 27-65-111, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
