An Act To Amend Section 41-23-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Each Public School District And Public Charter School Shall Require A School-entry Health Examination For All Students In Grades K-12 Performed Within One Year Prior To Enrollment With Certain Exceptions; To Authorize The State Board Of Education And The State Board Of Health To Adopt Rules To Govern The Health Examination Requirement; To Require Each Public School District And Public Charter School To Implement A Policy That Requires Each Child To Present Or Have On File A Certification Of Health Examination Prior To Enrollment; To Amend Section 37-7-301, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize School Boards To Exclude Students Who Have Not Complied With The Health-examination-certificate Requirement; To Amend Section 37-28-45, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform; And For Related Purposes.
