Summary
An Act To Amend Section 7-7-211, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Department Of Audit To Conduct Performance, Compliance And Monitoring Audits Of State-funded Economic Development Projects Under Title 57 Of The Mississippi Code Or As Requested By The Governor, The Legislature Or The Department Of Revenue; To Amend Section 57-62-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The State Auditor To Conduct Performance, Compliance And Monitoring Audits Of Any State-funded Economic Development Projects Under The Mississippi Advantage Jobs Act; To Amend Section 57-62-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The State Auditor To Audit Qualified Businesses And Industries To Verify Their Eligibility To Receive Incentive Payments Under The Mississippi Advantage Jobs Act; To Amend Section 57-62-11, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Proceeds Of Bonds Issued For Projects Under The Mississippi Advantage Jobs Act To Be Used To Reimburse Reasonable, Actual And Necessary Costs Incurred By The Department Of Audit For Any Audit Work Related To Those Projects; And For Related Purposes.
