Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 37-16-7 And 37-13-91, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That No School District Shall Promote A Compulsory-school-age Student To The Next Grade Level Or Allow Such Student To Graduate If That Student Has Accumulated 21 Or More Unlawful Absences In The Immediately Preceding School Year; To Provide That No School Shall Allow A High School Student To Earn Credit If He Has Accumulated 11 Unlawful Absences; And For Related Purposes.
