Summary

A Concurrent Resolution Proposing An Amendment To Section 36, Mississippi Constitution Of 1890, To Provide That Beginning In 2024, And In Each Legislative Session Held In Every Even Year Thereafter, Only Bills Appropriating Funds Or Transferring Monies From One Fund In The State Treasury To Another Shall Be Considered During Such Session; To Provide That Beginning In 2025, And In Each Legislative Session Held In Every Odd Year Thereafter, The Request For Drafting And The Introduction And Consideration Of Bills Other Than Those Appropriating Funds Or Transferring Monies From One Fund In The State Treasury To Another Shall Be Limited To Regular Legislative Sessions Occurring In Odd-numbered Years; And For Related Purposes.
