Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-17-6, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The State Board Of Education, Acting Through The Commission On School Accreditation, To Develop A Differential Component To The Performance-based Accreditation System Which Provides Alternative Means To Assessing The Performance Of Certain Schools And School Districts; To Require The Board To Submit A Report On The Differential Accountability Model To The Education Committees Of The Legislature Before The 2018 Session; To Require The New Accountability Model To Be Implemented During The 2018-2019 School Year; And For Related Purposes.
