Summary
An Act To Amend Section 75-76-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Gaming Control Act Definition Of "sports Pool" And Define "digital Platform" As A Person Or Entity That Operates A Sports Pool Or Race Book Over The Internet, Including On Websites And Mobile Devices, On Behalf Of The Holder Of A Gaming License; To Amend Sections 75-76-33, 75-76-55, 75-76-79, 75-76-89, 75-76-101 And 75-76-175, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Use Of Digital Platforms; To Amend Section 75-76-177, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Gaming License Fees In Regards To Platform Gross Revenues; To Amend Section 97-33-305, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Fantasy Contest Act To Delete The Prohibition On Operators Offering Contests Based On The Performance Of Participants In Collegiate Sports Events; And For Related Purposes.
