Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-106-73, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Board Of Trustees Of State Institutions Of Higher Learning To Enter Into Contracts With Applicants For The Repayment Of Loans Received By The Applicant From Sources Other Than The Speech-language Pathologists Forgivable Loan Program That Were Used To Acquire A Master's Or Doctor's Level Education In Speech-language Pathology, Providing For Repayment Of Those Loans By The Board If The Applicant Works As A Master's Or Doctor's Level Speech-language Pathologist In An Accredited Public School Located In Mississippi; To Provide That Repayment Of The Loans Will Be Made Under The Same Terms And Conditions As For Repayment Of A Loan From The Speech-language Pathologists Forgivable Loan Program By Entry Into Service Employment, And The Amount Of The Repayment For Each Year Of Service Shall Not Exceed The Amount That Would Be Discharged For One Year Of Service If The Loan Had Been Made Under The Speech-language Pathologists Forgivable Loan Program; And For Related Purposes.
