Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-9-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Limit The Maximum Salary Increase Which A School Board May Award To School Administrators To A Percentage That Is Equal To One-half Of The Average Percentage Increase Awarded To Teachers And Noninstructional Staff; To Amend Sections 37-3-13 And 37-3-25, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Limit The Maximum Salary Increases Which May Be Awarded To Deputy And Associate Superintendents And Division Directors In The State Department Of Education To A Percentage That Is Equal To One-half Of The Average Percentage Increase Awarded To Teachers And Noninstructional Staff In All Public School Districts; To Amend Section 43-5-8, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Similarly Limit Salary Increases Which May Be Awarded To School Administrators At The Mississippi Schools For The Blind And The Deaf; And For Related Purposes.
