Summary

An Act To Amend Section 19-5-22, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Whenever Any Board Of Supervisors Holds A Hearing Related To Delinquent Solid Waste Fees, The Board May Designate A Hearing Officer Who Is From Its Own Membership, Staff Of The County Or Some Other Qualified And Impartial Person As Long As The Hearing Officer Is Not The Board Attorney Or A Staff Member Of The Tax Collector's Office; And For Related Purposes.
