Summary

An Act To Amend Section 41-9-211, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Consolidations And Mergers Of Hospitals In Rural Counties That Improve Access To Hospital Services Shall Be Considered To Be According To Clearly Expressed State Policy And Shall Not Be Subject To The State Or Federal Antitrust Laws; To Amend Section 41-9-307, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Integrated Networks, Consolidations And Mergers Of Hospitals That Receive A Certificate Of Public Advantage Shall Not Be Subject To Certain Provisions Of The Community Hospital Laws; To Amend Section 41-13-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provisions; And For Related Purposes.
