Summary

An Act To Amend Section 27-19-57, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Each Person Required To Pay A Privilege License On A Motor Vehicle And Claiming Homestead Exemption On A Home To Register At Least One Vehicle To Which He Holds Title In The Homestead Location; To Amend Section 27-19-59, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Allow County Tax Collectors To Obtain Additional Information Necessary To Determine Where To Register A Vehicle; To Amend Section 27-19-63, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify The Application Of The Provision Contained In This Section That Requires The Purchaser Of A Motor Vehicle To Make Application For The Required Privilege License Within Seven Working Days After Delivery; And For Related Purposes.
