Summary

An Act To Amend Section 25-11-109, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That County And Municipal Election Commissioners Shall Receive Creditable Service In The Public Employees' Retirement System For Their Terms Of Office; To Amend Section 25-11-111, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That A Member Of The System Who Served As A County Or Municipal Election Commissioner For At Least Eight Years Before July 1, 2025, When The Member Withdraws From Service And Receives A Retirement Allowance, Shall Receive An Additional Amount For Each Full Year That The Member Served As An Election Commissioner Before July 1, 2025; And For Related Purposes.
