Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 75-60-4, 75-60-15, 75-60-17, 75-60-19, 75-60-23, 75-60-25, 75-60-27, 75-60-29, 75-60-31, 75-60-33, 75-60-35 And 75-60-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relate To The Commission On Proprietary School And College Registration; To Remove The Specific Fee Amounts And Authorize The State Board For Community And Junior Colleges To Levy Fees Only In The Amounts Required For The Commission To Perform Its Duties; To Remove The Specific Surety Bond Amount Required To Accompany An Application For A Certificate Of Registration And Authorize The Commission To Set The Amount Of The Surety Bond; To Refer To The License Awarded To Agents Of The Proprietary Schools And Colleges As An Agent Permit; To Allow The Commission To Refund Fees To Applicants That Are Refused Registration If The Commission Determines That Financial Hardship Would Result Otherwise; And For Related Purposes.
