Summary

An Act To Amend Section 83-1-191, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Create A Special Fund For The Comprehensive Hurricane Damage Mitigation Program; To Provide That The Program Require Mitigation To Meet The Standard Of A "fortified Home" In Accordance With The Institute For Business And Home Safety; To Amend Section 83-21-25, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Surplus Lines Tax Shall Be Deposited Into The Comprehensive Hurricane Damage Mitigation Program Fund; And For Related Purposes.
