An Act To Authorize The Department Of Public Safety To Certify Inspection Stations For The Inspection Of Commercial Vehicles; To Require That If The Department Certifies Any Such Stations, It Must Certify At Least One Such Station In Each County; To Authorize The Department To Certify A Vehicle Maintenance Facility Owned And Operated By A Political Subdivision Or Agency Of This State As An Inspection Station; To Specify Which Vehicles This Inspection Program Applies To; To Authorize The Department To Provide Serially Numbered Inspection Certificates And Verification Forms To The Inspection Stations; To Make Certain Requirements Of Inspectors Or Owners Of Inspection Stations; To Set The Application Requirements For An Inspection Station; To Set The Application Requirements For An Inspector; To Set The Fee For Inspections Of A Commercial Motor Vehicle; To Set The Fee For Certification As An Inspector; To Set The Fee For Certification As An Inspection Station; To Make Certain Offenses And Penalties For Such Regarding Inspections; To Set A Fine And State Assessment For Offenses Under The Act; And For Related Purposes.
