An Act To Amend Section 47-7-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Requirement That At Least A 15 Day Notice Be Given By The Director Of Records Of The Department Of Corrections To Certain Local Law Enforcement When An Offender Is To Be Released On Parole; To Reduce From 15 Days To 48 Hours The Time Period That A Victim Of An Offender, Or The Victim's Family, Must Be Notified By The Parole Board When The Offender Is To Be Released By The Board; To Amend Section 47-5-177, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; And For Related Purposes.
